River's Edge 2010 UPDATE

River’s Edge International Film Festival
November 4-7, 2010
Paducah, Kentucky, USA

Celebrating our 6th year, the Rivers' Edge International Film Festival is a four day event built around the showing of quality independent film from around the world. Our focus is both on the film lover, providing multiple venues in which to experience the best the world of cinema has to offer, and on the film maker, offering opportunities for exhibition, education, and networking with contemporaries. We are particularly interested in regional films and filmmakers, whether local from western Kentucky or global. Everyone has a story to tell and we wish to facilitate that telling.

We are very proud this year to have writer/director Tina Mabry as our juror. Her film ‘Mississippi Damned’ has won numerous awards including Best Feature Film and Best Screenplay at the 2009 Chicago International Film Festival and Outstanding US Dramatic Feature at the 2009 Outfest Film Festival. ‘Mississippi Damned’ will be featured for our opening night celebration on November 4.

The Early Bird deadline for submissions is April 30. Take advantage of the reduced submission fee and let us see your film! Can’t make the Early Bird, no worries…films will be accepted through September 15.
